Zanni Louise inspires our children's creativity.

Author Danni Louise visited our school recently to share her experiences as a writer. Zanni made an engaging presentation to the whole school, describing her writing process, the long time line from story idea to publishing and her inspiration. She encouraged all of our students to acknowledge their imagination and creativity and use it to create wonderful stories.

Some of our lucky year 5 students were then able to participate in a more intensive writing workshop under the guidance of Zanni and her wonderful enthusiasm.

The visit was part of the "Story Board" initiative sponsored by the Byron Bay Writers Festival. We are extremely fortunate to have access to this invaluable program and even luckier to have a wonderful school librarian in Ms Carmel Evans who worked hard to co-ordinate the visit.
