Transition to MEPS - Learning Ladder
Our Learning Ladder program is designed to support families and students during the transition from preschool to primary school.
This runs for three half-days in term four. Enrolled families will be given the details at enrolment.
Learning Ladder days are an important chance to your child to have a snapshot of school life at MEPS and for us to get to know your child. During orientation sessions, the children will meet some of our teachers, engage in fun activities and make new friends with their peers.
Parent Information Session
Parents are invited to an information session during one of the Learning Ladder days. You will meet the teachers and other staff who will be working with your child and be presented with the information that you will need to know for a successful start to school.
Welcome Pack
Parents will also receive a pack that will provide written information to help you find the answers to common questions
How to enrol
If you live in our intake area and would like to apply to enrol at our school, start by submitting an online enrolment application. Online enrolment is currently only available for Australian or New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.
If you are not able to apply online or you prefer not to, download the paper application to enrol (PDF 768.4KB) form. Please complete the form in English. A translated application to enrol may help you do this.
Online enrolment can also be used for out-of-area enrolment. Please note that out-of-area enrolment procedures are subject to the department’s enrolment policy.
Enrolment applications are finalised at the school.
